Was the CHERRY ON TOP on our 15 km hike through Isalo National Park.
This was the last place we visited on this hike and I honestly didn't have big expectations. I was tired, my phone battery was almost dead, I've seen 3 amazing natural pools and many other things that day, so I was like OK let's go quickly to see this waterfall.
On top of it, it's the most difficult to reach, since we had to climb a very steep hill to get there. The guide warned us (some people don't even go because it's lots of climbing), but I found it not so bad. Well, after 7 hours of walking it wasn't what I wanted, but I didn't want to miss only that at the very end.
And then, boom! This place topped all the other ones before. It is completely hidden and really the most beautiful of the 4 pools. But there was no waterfall! I guess there is no water here during the dry season to fall. I wished I had the strength to enter and swim to see what it's like behind the corner in the pool, but it was really a long day.
My pictures are not doing this place any favor, because I was too tired to take nice pictures and it's ten times better in real life 😇
And since many of you are asking if there are snakes, yes there are plenty! But more in rainy season. But as you can see in the pictures we saw one small one and at the end we saw a huge chameleon!
And after this gorgeous hike we said SOAVA DIA (have a nice trip) to our guide, Mr Lova😀
